For some reason my blog was being silly and not letting me post for a while, so this post is a bit late, but the Bird of the Month for November is the Red Bellied Parrot. They are a pretty bird to wear for Fall, don't you think? The auctions this week include the following creations: a charm, a choker necklace, a female Red Belly pendant necklace, a male Red Belly pin, a beaded bracelet, and a male Red Belly glass beaded necklace and earring set.
A variety of jewelry in the Faux Ivory finish is also listed on sale. As shown below, the Faux Ivory pieces on sale include a pair of Lovebird dangle earrings, a Cockatoo pin, a parrot charm choker which could be an Eclectus or other bird of your imagination, and a Budgie parakeet charm.

Killian and Kaleena have been molting so many beautiful feathers lately - I just love finding them when I clean their cages, each vibrant feather seems like a special little treasure, and I keep them in a glass display jar to enjoy. I decided to make a few more pairs of earrings with some of the "matching feathers" and just listed three pairs on eBay if you'd like to take a look! :)

Sorry about the lack of blog updates, I've had my hands full but am happy that I could get a collection of pieces finished for the Bird of the Month for July! The species this month is the lovely Lutino Cockatiel!
The collection is now up for auction on eBay for the next 6 days and includes quite a variety of pieces, including bracelet charms, magnet, choker, pendant, two different pins, as well as two different glass bead necklace sets, and two matching beaded bracelets!
The beaded necklace set pictured above is slightly higher in price, since it is made in a different style, where each bead is wired together instead of being strung on cord. This was a more time consuming piece, but I really love how it turned out! To see the complete list of items currently on auction, go to my EBAY listings.
I hope you all are having a wonderful summer!
