Happy Valentine's Day! A few of you have asked for an update on Kiki, and I'm so pleased to let you know that she is doing well! The cyst is smaller, and she seems to be feeling great!

Unfortunately with the Christmas rush, I had to take a break from our trick training, which she has really missed. We'll get back to it soon, and hopefully I'll have another video to share with you next month!

I'm having a sale in all of my Etsy shops until Valentine's Day! Use coupon code "VALENTINE20" at checkout to receive 20% off your purchase. (Please note that I cannot apply the discount for you if you forget to put in the code, sorry!)

The discount is valid in all of my Etsy shops:

I recently tried my hand at making molds of some of my sculpts, and they came out great! As a result, I'm creating a new line of molded pieces, and my plan is to offer a new species each month, if time allows! If you like the look of these pendants and want to purchase one in your favorite bird, drop me a note, or post on my Facebook page and let me know what species you would like to see me create and offer next!

This month, I started with an Eclectus and an African Grey, and created pendants from my new molds in a variety of finishes. They are all made from polymer clay, but have the look of Faux Ivory, Antiqued Silver, and Antiqued Pewter, which you can see above. (I also made several magnets in Faux Ivory which are not shown here.)

Because these pendants are made from a mold, I can offer them at lower prices than my one-of-a-kind sculpts. However, each one is still handmade, so will be individually created and will vary slightly from piece to piece. Most of these new medallion pendants are being sold without chain/cord, although I have several options if you prefer to have a necklace included with the pendant. I also created one of the African Grey pendants in a glossy black with metallic gold highlights (above right), on a romantic necklace with a some glass beads and matching earrings.

All of the pieces are on auction on eBay and end on Wednesday, December 11th: http://www.ebay.com/sch/parrotjewelry/m.html?_ipg=50&_from&_nkw&_armrs=1&_sop=10"

Five new ARTdornments necklaces are on auction, ending on Wednesday. They include: lovely lady playing a mandolin, beaded with gorgeous red, gold and green glass beads, an antiqued gold poppy pendant on a black and red beaded necklace, a striking Eclectus Pair set with green beads, a unique horse medallion pendant, and a lovely beaded set featuring a pair of Congo African Grey Parrots.

I'm offering another Giveaway this month! The prize is this pretty horse medallion necklace in antiqued silver, from my ARTdornments line. Enter to win here. You can earn extra entries by "Liking" my Facebook pages: ARTdornments on Facebook, Alicia's Creations on Facebook page, , and Joy Magnet Art on Facebook, or by following my Twitter accounts as well, but these are not mandatory. The giveaway is open to residents of the USA, age 18 and older, and ends on January 4. Good luck!

To show my appreciation for your business this month, everyone who purchases something from my eBay auctions will receive a free gift! I created several dozen beautiful "poinsettia petal" pendants, and look forward to sharing them with you! I piled them all up together for this photo, each "petal" is a separate pendant!

May you be blessed with peace, love and joy this holiday season, and enjoy an abundance of all good things in the coming New Year!

Happy Holidays everyone! I had planned to create another species for December's Bird of the Month, but Rush orders took my time! So instead I am offering you a Male and a Female Eclectus, since I had these on hand, and they are such perfect Christmas birds with their gorgeous red and green! In addition, I created a special pair of earrings made with feathers from my own Eclectus parrots! All of the pieces are on auction, ending on Wednesday, December 11th.

In addition, I HAD to make a few more "bird poop" pieces since you keep asking for more, to my great amusement! There is a magnet, necklace and a pair of earrings, all on auction on eBay. To see all of the pieces on sale, visit my eBay auction listings here: http://www.ebay.com/sch/parrotjewelry/m.html?_ipg=50&_from&_nkw&_armrs=1&_sop=10"

There is also a Faux Ivory Goffin's Cockatoo necklace, as well a variety of "Infinite Love" themed jewelry including a pair of earrings, bracelet, and necklace.

All of the pieces are on auction on eBay and end on Wednesday, December 11: http://www.ebay.com/sch/parrotjewelry/m.html?_ipg=50&_from&_nkw&_armrs=1&_sop=10"
