It's Budgie time! I rarely offer budgies on eBay, since these are one of the most time consuming birds to make, but last month when I was finishing up some custom orders with budgies, I decided to go ahead and create a few for you! There is a full bodied budgie, a budgie face, and a "Kawaii styled" budgie. The budgies are being auctioned eBay for five days, ending on Wednesday, May 22.

I recently had fun playing around with an attempt to recreate jade and rose quartz in polymer clay! I've been working with polymer clay for nearly 20 years now, and the versatility this amazing stuff still continues to astound me. There is no end to the different looks that can be achieved with it!

There are four Faux Jade pendants featuring an Amazon, Cockatiel, Macaw and Eclectus. They are strung on chain with an antiqued gold look. There are three Faux Rose Quartz pendants featuring a Lovebird/Parrotlet, a Conure, and an African Grey, on silver chains. All of the pendants have a high gloss finish. (All white splotches on the birds are just light reflections!)

What a colorful batch of Serendipity parrots I have for you this month! I ended up with a lot of scrap clay recently, and while I had absolutely NO intention of making so many "scrap clay pendants", they simply decided they had to be made I guess! So here are 13 incredibly unique parrot pendants, in beautiful spring colors, with bits of silver leafing adding some sparkle!

The Serendipity pendants for sale this month could represent a wide variety of species, it is really up to your imagination - however I did base some of the shapes on: African Greys, Macaw, Cockatoos, Conure, Budgie, Parrotlet, Eclectus, Quaker, Amazon, Cockatiel, and more. The plan for March's Bird of the Month was to be the Male Eclectus, in their brilliant green, in honor of St. Patrick's Day! Due to ongoing health issues however, I wasn't able to get the pieces listed for you last month, but here they are now - better late than never, right? :) In addition, to celebrate Spring this month, there is a Congo African Grey with a white and pink flower, strung on a beaded necklace!

The new pieces for sale this month include all of the jewelry shown above: a Congo Grey charm choker, the Spring Flower Congo Grey beaded necklace, a male Eclectus charm choker, and two full bodied male Eclectus pendants (only one shown here). There are two beautiful new one-of-a-kind necklace & earring sets in my latest line of jewelry this month. One features an image of a Victorian lady with two greyhounds, set in antique gold. The other set features a Congo Grey, in antique silver. Both necklaces have hand sculpted frames, and are beaded with semi-precious stones. Both sets are being auctioned on eBay for the next five days.

The Bird of the Month for November is the African Grey, and I managed to create a rather large assortment for you, including both Timneh and Congo Greys. The pieces include: bracelet charms, chokers, pendants, beaded necklace & earrings, as well as an additional Congo Grey pendant that features a "plucked" birdie (shown in the center above).

 

I've had several requests to make a Kawaii styled African Grey - so here you go! I actually made two Grey pendants, one with a tail, and the other is very small and is more of a front view without tail. I also made a small Kawaii Green Quaker pendant (shown below).
