Many of you already know of my love for Broadway musicals, with The Phantom of the Opera being the one that has always had a place closest to my heart. In January when I heard the news that the Las Vegas version of the show would be closing, I knew I had to be there for the finale. So, after seven months of planning and saving for this special vacation, the time finally came!
What an amazing trip, I had the time of my life! Not only was it an honor to be there to experience this magnificent cast and crew's final few performances, it also was special to finally meet so many talented "Phans" in person that I had only known online. We all had so much fun, despite it being a bittersweet time with the show coming to a close after 6 years.
One of the highlights was "Costume Night", with many Phans coming to the show in their fantastic replica costumes! The photo above was taken with one of the Phans in costume, Lindsey from Phantom on a Budget. (Check out her Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/potobudget if you'd like to see more of her great costume and makeup work!)
It was a much needed time away from custom orders, and now I'm geared up to get back to my clay, feeling freshly inspired!
