I had planned to have the Female Eclectus as the Bird of the Month back in February, but illness kept me from doing a collection that month - so here they are for June! With their vibrant colors, I thought they were perfect for my "Red, White & Blue" theme this month! Kaleena, my own female Solomon Island Eclectus was happy to be my "live model" for this collection! :)

On auction are a bracelet charm, charm choker, pendant, and beaded necklace/earring set. There is also a Vosmaeri charm, and beaded Vos necklace/earring set (not shown here). All of the pieces are on auction for the next 5 days on eBay, ending on Sunday!

I've beaded up one of my fun "scrap clay birds" into a necklace, with matching earrings! This long tailed parrot has many colors marbled through the body, including pale yellow, teal, crimson, with a glossy finish. The parrot could represent a variety of species, it's up to your imagination!

This set is being auctioned on eBay for the next 5 days, and ends on Saturday!

Happy New Year! I hope that 2012 has started out brightly for you!

I originally had another species in mind for January, but through an interesting twist, the Bird of the Month seemed determined to be a Canary instead! They were a fun change to create, and I am hoping that there are a few canary lovers among you out there!

There are a beaded necklace and earring set, a small pendant on cord, and a bracelet charm all on auction for one week on eBay!

In addition, a new Flights of Fancy styled Cockatoo necklace is currently on auction on eBay for the following week. There are also a new "bird poop" magnet (shown below) and pin on auction for the next 7 days!

This month, instead of just one species, the Bird of the Month is an assortment of birds, in a unique style! I experimented with a polymer clay that has the look of stone, and the pieces have the look of carved granite, in muted colors, with coordinating beads in earthy tones.

There are six "stone bird" necklaces up for auction,, which include four glass beaded necklace/earring sets featuring a Conure, African Grey, Macaw and Cockatiel. There are two necklaces on cord (without beads) featuring a Goffin's Cockatoo and Amazon.

The low starting bids are a whopping 50% off the regular price of beaded necklaces on my website, so here is your chance to snag a GREAT deal!

Please note that ALL of this month's auctions are only going for FIVE DAYS, instead of the typical week. The auctions end on Friday, the day after Thanksgiving.

There are two other necklaces on auction, including this Yellow Naped Amazon necklace and a "Flights of Fancy" parrot necklace. The bird could be a lory, lorikeet, quaker parrot, grey cheeked parakeet, or other brotogeris, but the species is really up to your imagination!
