What a wonderful way to start off the month of December! The snow lately has made everything feel so "Christmassy" and beautiful, I just had to share a few pictures here with you.

My sculpting table is directly next to a window overlooking some rosebushes at level with the ground, and I enjoy watching the birds and other critters outside as I work. This was my view today, a rabbit nibbling on the rose stalks and trying to stay warm in the cold. He was less than 2 feet from me, but stayed until I moved the blind to take a photo. Such a cute little guy, had to share his photo here. The ice, snow and cold is sure getting old around here!

Wow, I can't believe it! I am finally starting a blog! It is insane that I am doing this in the midst of all of the stuff going on right now - tons of custom orders from the January opening, about 27 pages yet to update for the website, etc. etc. etc. But here you have it, my new blog, a place to perhaps share a few pet stories and photos, tell you what I'm working on, and unwind and de-stress a little. Enjoy!

It has been snowing for almost 2 days solid - about 12 inches of snow! It finally stopped tonight and there was a beautiful sunset.
