The Bird of the Month for August is the vibrant Sun Conure! The collection is now up for auction on eBay for the next 6 days and includes a bracelet charm, choker, pendant, pin, glass beaded bracelet, and a glass beaded necklace and earring set!
Also new on eBay this week are a selection of other species and items, so I hope you will stop by and check it out! Included are beaded bracelets in the following species: Timneh Grey, Congo Grey, male Eclectus, and female Eclectus. A Scarlet Macaw charm and Orange Winged Amazon charm are also new this week.
I have also created three glass beaded necklace/earring sets featuring the faces of the following birds: Normal Male cockatiel, Orange Winged Amazon, and a cute green Budgie/Parakeet! Another fun thing that I listed this week are a pair of earrings featuring feathers donated by my very own Killian! :)

We just received a great assortment of yummy goodies from Heidi at http://shops.ittybittybirdiebites.com/Heidi/ kindly given for Killian and Kaleena to try out. Well, as you can see, they enjoyed their birdie bread made from "Fid Flour" and the "Itty Bitty Birdy Bites" so much that they didn't even take their heads out of their food bowls to look at the camera! :) With the fresh, human grade ingredients and wonderful mix of flavors, it's no surprise that they are loving it! Hard to believe it is already Easter, especially since we had SNOW yesterday. I managed to get Killian & Kaleena to pose for a few photos, and am sharing them with you in the Smilebox card below. Unfortunately I
haven't posted here as much as I would like lately, due to not feeling well. I'm hopeful that this coming week will be a better one so that I can get back to work full force. The good news is that spring really is finally
just around the corner, the birds outside are starting to chirp and we
are all looking forward to warmer weather!
I recently got a new camera that also takes videos, so here is a little home movie showing Killian doing his favorite activity: running around (under close supervision) on the floor, exploring any and all nooks and crannies that he can find, along with his beloved doggies, who are thankfully completely trustworthy and "bird-safe"- they just have to be told not to lick him! He really loves the dogs and would spend all of his time as close as possible to them if I let him! Even when he is in his cage, he crawls down to the bottom to be on eye level and talk to them. :) I am really thankful that all of my pets get along so well.
